We have been welcoming international students for more than 30 years. Taradale High School values international students and the contribution that they make to the culture of our school. We do our best to ensure the experience of each student is both memorable and academically worthwhile.

Taradale High School is located in Napier. This beautiful provincial city, famous for its architecture, is known as the Art Deco capital of the world and is situated on the East Coast of the North Island.

Beside the sea, yet only two hours away from the mountains, Napier enjoys a sunny, temperate climate with excellent recreational and sight seeing opportunities.

Renowned as the fruit bowl of New Zealand, this region offers a wonderful study environment. Located in the suburb of Taradale, the High School is a five-minute walk to a convenient shopping centre, and new sports arena with modern gymnasiums and sports facilities.

Taradale has extensive sports grounds and is near to picturesque parks and golf courses.

A regular bus service runs into Napier’s city centre.
