Sports Coordinator and Staff Member in Charge of Netball (Part-Time, Term Time Only)

Taradale High School is seeking an organised and motivated Sports Coordinator to support the delivery of our school sports programme.

Working under the direction of the Head of Sport, this role is responsible for the day-to-day organisation and administration of sport across the school.

Key responsibilities could include:

• Coordinating teams, registrations, and competitions
• Supporting coaches, TICs, and volunteers
• Organising sports events, exchanges, and logistics
• Managing uniforms and equipment
• Maintaining communication with students, staff, whānau, and sporting bodies
• Supporting health and safety processes and funding applications
• Provision of administrative and organisational support to the netball programme under guidance of Head of Sport.
• Coaching a minimum of one netball team.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong organisational and communication skills
• Has experience or a background in sport
• Is proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
• Enjoys working with young people and within a team environment

Position details:

• 20 hours per week, term time only
• $26–$29 per hour (depending on experience)
• Start date: 20 April 2026 (or by negotiation)
